Hi Everyone,
I just realized that it's been over a month since our last update. Time sure does fly when you're moving! We're settled in (thanks to Kevin's persistance :>), and now starting to think about the holiday season, which is fast approaching.
Keira seems to be getting cuter every day. Since the last update she's tried the jolly jumper (which she's still getting used to - it's more "dancing" than jumping - but the end result is that she's ready for a nap when she comes out).
We also tried the bumbo seat (she might be the first baby that really doesn't like it). Keira has also joined us on the family trips to the pool. I think we've got two kids that really love the water!
We're still waiting for the first two chicklets to arrive as the poor thing's gums are so swollen. We have to change her shirt numerous times a day, due to her copious amounts of drool - especially if we forget to put a bib on her.
Keira's also getting pretty close to rolling back to front (we think as a way to escape the evil Joshua ;>)
Joshua has also had a big month. He's now able to jump clear off the floor, say his own name (about 1/2 of the time that you ask him), and do somersaults!
His eating is getting slightly better now that the LAST tooth is finally through (hence his recent gains in weight and height).
And he's starting to show interest in the potty (at least wanting to sit on it).
Going to the pool continues to be one of Josh's favourite activities. Every time we're getting in the car "pool" is the first thing that he says. He's now good at jumping/launching off the side, "swimming" under water, and blowing bubbles. Can't wait for some of you to see on the weekend!
Have a great couple weeks, and hope to see many of you soon,

Hi Everyone,
It’s been a few weeks so I thought it was time for another quick update and some pictures. Things are progressing quickly here in London. The move is only 3 weeks away, so packing is in full swing (not happening as fast as Kev would like to see it though :>). I also forgot how difficult it is to move all services to a new address. This is especially true when you’re relocating to a new city because frequently the companies aren’t even the same. Very frustrating to say the least!
Joshua is doing well. New words are coming out of his mouth every day. He’s even begun string two words together for example “bye dad”, “hi dad” and “that way”. I have also felt the LAST tooth coming through. Thank goodness!!!! He’s continuing to eat well for most meals, and continuing to sleep soundly in his big boy bed. He’s now able to climb up onto the counter tops to get into cupboards though, so nothing is out of his reach anymore. This combined with his ability to open doors, means that we have to be on the lookout 24 hours a day (although at nighttime he doesn’t seem to ever leave his bed let alone his room).
Keira is also doing well (although we’re dealing with thrush at the moment). She officially rolled over (front to back) this week, and we think that she might be starting the teething process. She’s a drool monster, and her hands are in her mouth constantly. Josh was 4 months when he got his first two chicklets, so we’re not that far off from that time anyway. Kev and I have each heard her laugh once, but have yet to get an encore performance.
Hope that you enjoy the photos.

I thought that I would send out another little update while I have the time.
Things here in London continue to be busy (although not as hectic as it was when we were trying to sell the house). Kev is wrapping up his stuff at work, and hopes to have his thesis submitted before we move from London (looks like we won't be seeing much of him in the coming weeks ;>).
Josh and Keira have both had pink eye, and immunizations in the past week. Probably not the best week that they've ever had! But all seems to be well today.
Josh is really starting to talk. In the past 10 days he's started to say a few new words (shoes, pool, bye-bye). He's also had lots of fun at the pool, learning how to swim on his back. And (keeping our fingers crossed), he's started to eat again. We've given up on the high chair and that really seems to make a difference. Let's hope that the trend from the last couple of days continues.
Keira continues to delight us with her smiles and coos...We're hoping to hear her laugh any day now as she's started to chuckle in her sleep.

I know that it hasn't been that long since our last update, but I thought that I would write one anyway as lots of things have happened in the past week.
For those of you that don't know, we have sold our home here in London and have purchased one in Whitby. Move date is December 1st for both, so it looks like we have a busy six weeks ahead of us. See the link below for some pictures of our new place.
We had a great Thanksgiving this past weekend, and hope that everyone else had the same. We spent the entire weekend in Haliburton, where Josh got to go canoeing, and he got to enjoy two campfires. Josh especially loved the night that my cousin James played guitar and sang songs.
Keira continues to do wonderfully....Although I think that she's going through another growth spurt, as she wants to eat all the time right now. (Every two hours during the day, and every 4 - 6 at night.....I know what you're saying......6 hours at night is great for a eight week old.....She was going eight hours for us though, so the switch is hard to get used to again)!
Joshua has now slept in his big boy bed for the first time at night! He's been napping in the bed for weeks, but until yesterday, we hadn't tried to put him there for bedtime. He did very well, so let's just hope that it continues that way. Josh has also figured out how to open the bedroom and bathroom doors, which means that we'll have to gate his bedroom door as he'd be able to get out if he so chooses during the night. Joshua has also taken an interest in holding Keira. I pass her to him, he kisses her, pats her head, then wiggles to get away.
Anyway, enjoy the pictures (click on the link below).
