Oh boy, time sure does fly.  I guess I was being truthful when I said that I wouldn't take as long to update the blog, but 3+ months is a long time none the less.  Jenna is now a one year old!  Our little baby is no longer a baby and instead (almost overnight it seems) we have a toddler on our hands.  A toddler with attitude actually ;)   She's definitely more spirited than her sister, and will without a doubt, be able to hold her own soon enough.


Speaking of her sister, Keira is FINALLY starting to get used to our move to Ottawa (it only took her 8.5 months)!!  In fact, this week for the first time she told me that she actually liked Ottawa now :)  It must be that she continues to enjoy preschool and has made some good friends that will follow her to JK next year...


Josh continues to do well at school and seems to have met some really good friends.  This past Friday I was able to volunteer in his classroom and see first hand what he's actually like at school (very well behaved to my amazement)!!  It's great to have been given the opportunity, as anyone with a 5 year old knows, you get a very one sided picture of what happens in class.  If I were to believe Josh, most days he either plays Superheroes or tag all day long...I now know that isn't true ;)   Josh is also becoming quite the good reader.  It really is amazing what happens when things just start to "click".


We're all looking forward to a very busy (but relaxing summer). We plan to go camping at least once, have another trip to Great Wolf Lodge in the works, and we're embarking on our first road trip as a family!  Our friend Laurina is getting married in New Brunswick this July, so we decided to make a vacation out of it.  Not sure exactly what sites/places we'll visit but exciting for sure!  


But first and foremost, this coming weekend is the last Graham sibling wedding :)  Matt & Lindsay will be getting married in Whitby, and we're all looking forward to a great party!!

Uh oh.  It's been way too long since I've last updated this.  This is the one bad thing about Facebook, as I forget that not everyone has an account, and therefore don't get our family updates.  Obviously a lot has happened since we moved to Ottawa at the end of August.  Jenna is now a very mobile, gibberish speaking, food loving little girl :) To top it off, she is just now starting to sleep through the night again!!  Yipee!  We've had a little hiatus from that....ever since H1N1, she has decided that playing with mom or dad is much cooler than sleeping.

Josh and Keira have settled into school nicely (JK for Josh and preschool for Keira).  Both are learning lots, and making many new friends.  It also seems like almost everyday that we get to hear...."I'm so excited, I'm so excited" from Keira about going to JK next year.  She's always with me when we pick up and drop off Josh, so she's met his teachers (yes two...one for French on for English), and seen the classrooms...she just can't wait.   Our school has not been chosen as one of the ones for full time kindergarten, so it looks like I will be likely staying home for a little longer, to minimize the chaos in our lives.

Talking about chaos...our lives are definitely busy....especially around exam times or illnesses, but we're hanging in there.  Only five and a half more years to go right ;)

I promise that I won't wait that long to update again.
